Fresh and Chemical Free Shampoo

This is a recipe of a shampoo many women across the world use it in one form or other when shifting to completely natural.  Little tweaking makes it best for Indian hair and once you start using it you can increase and decrease it for your need.

It has no chemical and preservatives so it stays good for 4-5 days in refrigerator . A personally tested recipe reduces hair fall from the first application. The basic recipe is popular in western countries and will be available on web. Here are the ingredients  enough for shoulder length hair.

One cup reetha extract( made by boiling 5 whole reethas/sopanuts in 500 ml water till reduces to half, do not use powder reetha)

One cup fresh aloe vera gel taken from one leaf.

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

I tsp organic honey(most of super market honey are plain sugar syrup)

I cup boiled water

1 drop of Tea-tree /lavender oil depending upon dandruff or hair fall.

Blend everything in a blender on high speed till froth fills the blender. Apply to wet hair and scalp and massage for two minutes and rince. As reetha causes irritation to eyes please avoid it getting into eyes.  For oily hair it will need 2-3 application. Its safe for babies too but decrease the reetha extract to one-third or less.  This preparation stays in refrigerator for 4-5 days or can be frozen and thawed when needed.  If any change in color or smell throw away. As always do a path test to check if there is any allergic reaction. The photo shows how it looks like in a blender. Try it and do send me your comments.
